Arts Annuals: Each year the Council cosponsors two major exhibitions of the work of New Jersey artists, one in fine arts and the other in crafts. Each is mounted at one of six New Jersey museums and is curated by the host museum, which draws from works of art from the artists that have received Council Fellowships and those filed in the Visual Arts Registry. The participating museums include the Jersey City Museum, The Newark Museum, Montclair Art Museum, Morris Museum, New Jersey State Museum and The Noyes Museum of Art.
- The 2008 Fine Arts Annual will open at the Jersey City Museum on March 20 and
run through August 24, 2008.
- The 2008 Crafts Annual will open at the New Jersey State Museum on October 18, 2008 and
run through March 22, 2009.
- In 2009, the Morris Museum will host Fine Arts and The Noyes Museum will host Crafts.
- In 2010, The NJ State Museum will host Fine Arts and The Newark Museum will host Crafts.

Visual Arts Fellowship Showcase: Every other year, the Council cosponsors a major exhibition of the work of those artists who received fellowships in the preceding awards cycle in painting, sculpture, photography, works on paper, crafts, design and emerging visual arts genres. Participation in this show is a condition of Fellowship acceptance. The next Visual Arts Fellowship Showcase will be held in spring 2009.
Choreography Fellowship Showcase: Every other year, the Council cosponsors at major venues an evening showcase of dance and interdisciplinary performance by the recipients of Council choreography and interdisciplinary performance fellowships from the previous cycle. Participation in this show is a condition of Fellowship acceptance. The next Choreography Fellowship Showcase will be held in spring 2009.
Literary Arts Fellowship Reading Series: Every other year, the Council cosponsors a series of readings by the poets, playwrights and prose writers that received Council fellowships from the previous funding cycle. Participation in this series is a condition of Fellowship acceptance. The next Literary Arts Fellowship Reading Series will take place this fall and winter.
