I help my father with his business and I really wanted to go to college. Unfortunately, I took a semester at college and it did not go well since the hours I actually had free did not match with my classes. I’d like to take courses online and get an associates in Digital Arts. I’ve only completed High school so far, and I really want an education..

Is it possible for people to enroll in online classes straight out of high school?

I live in vineland, nj. many might know and many might not. Vineland high school is where most people end up. I’m into performing arts. should i just go with vineland high, which have lower scores ( not extremely though but lower than the other high school) or should i audition for GCIT which is has professional drama teachers and talent scouts along with great grades and fast job oppurtunities.
ps: im in accelerated since 2nd grade. im now in 7th and i have 2 make a decision this summer. it takes me 1/2 an hour 2 go to gcit but they pay for my transportation.i will be going with another student

Can’t find a good online school that is not a ripoff and, preferably, won’t cost a fortune that employers will not laugh at. Are there any that are better than a 1-800 number degree? I’d reeaaallly appreciate some referalls.

Many online universities offer teaching methods courses for elementary schools, but where can I take one related to high school language arts?

(I’m seeking an alternative licensure in Ohio.)
Brooke: Education Connection only offers classes related to teaching in elementary schools, which doesn’t help me at all.

Can my high school legally not allow me to take certain online courses ?

I live in North Carolina.
Basically, I want to take some online courses through www.ncvps.com

I’m interested in taking Art and Digital Communications.

However, when I talked to my counselor (who has to sign the forms to let me take these classes), he said I couldn’t take Art because it was already offered at my current high school. (The reason I wanted to take Art online was because I need room for AP classes in my regular schedule)

Second, he wouldn’t allow me to take Digital Communications online because it’s a CTE class and my high school does not allow us to take CTE classes online.

I feel as if this is ridiculous and my question is: can he do this?

Hey guys, this is how my freshman year went. I need you to tell me your general thoughts on how I did, and I would also like it if you rank what you think my chances are of getting into an ivy league school on a scale of 1-10 (with a 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
Well, here goes nothing.
Classes:
geometry honors–B
language arts honors–B
biology–A
world histroy–A
spanish–A
accounting–A
gym–A

Extracurriculars:
Model United Nations
Model Congress
Debate team
Junior Statesmen of America
March of Dimes
Red Cross
National History day
the Future Business Leaders of America
Federal Reserve Bank challenge

Accomplishments:
for the future business leaders of America, I placed second in the state of NJ for global business and 9th place in the entire nation.
For the fed challenge, I got a letter of recognition from the federal reserve
thanks in advance
also, before I forget, any tips on improving in the future? And yes, I know it all comes down to how I do on the SATs, so please don’t bother telling me ( I will have you know that I have already begun to prepare).
The only thing that concerns me is that I got Bs in my only 2 honors courses. I’m taking 4 next year tho
